The Date Difference Calculator works with dates only (no time). This tool accepts both date and time, so it can calculate time durations like '20 hours and 45 minutes' that span less than a full day.

Does the calculator handle leap years correctly?

Yes. The calculation accounts for leap years automatically. February 2024 has 29 days and this is reflected in the results.

What happens if I enter the end datetime before the start datetime?
