Questions & Answers

Does the text reader work without internet?

Yes. The tool uses your browser's built-in speech synthesis, which works completely offline after the page loads.

Which voices are available?

Available voices depend on your browser and operating system. The tool automatically selects a matching voice for the language. Chrome and Edge typically offer the best options.

What is the difference between the reading modes?

Native mode is the fastest and smoothest. By Parts introduces longer pauses between sentences for better compatibility with some browsers. Manual adds even longer pauses, ideal for detailed follow-along or accessibility.

What file formats are accepted?

The tool accepts plain text files (TXT). For other formats such as PDF or Word, copy the content and paste it directly into the text box.
